Psychotherapy for Adults, Adolescents & Children

Mindspace Behavioral Health utilizes dynamic and compassionate psychotherapy services to help adults, adolescents, and children find joy and meaning in their lives.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a compassionate, talk-based relationship that supports adolescents and adults to bring about lasting, positive change.  It is a journey that we take together.  I meet you where you are and walk alongside you until you are where you would like to be.  Due to ongoing concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic, Mindspace Behavioral Health is only offering psychotherapy services virtually at this time.

Play Therapy

Young children frequently have difficulty talking about what is bothering them.  This is not because they do not want to discuss their thoughts and feelings, but because they have not yet developed the vocabulary or insight that they need to be able to do this.  Children utilize play to show me what they are thinking and feeling.  I also utilize play to communicate with the children about what is happening in their lives and to help them explore alternative behaviors and attitudes.

Sand Tray Therapy

Sand Tray Therapy is a therapeutic approach that allows clients to explore their worldview by creating images and stories in the sand.  Sand Tray is often integrated into play therapy as a means of expression for children and adolescents.  Sand Tray is further impactful for adults wishing to resolve traumas and improve resilience.  The sand additionally provides a positive sensory experience that many find soothing.
